Mario Roots NCFC Edition - (50MB)

Well my Sage entry is complete. There are 3 levels(I was going to try to finish another story-mode level, but school kept me occupied). I will be playtesting the entry probably the entire day for common bugs/mistakes. The second story-mode level IS done, however, some of the enemies AI I think can be improved so I dedcided not to include that. Well, Enjoy!

August 08, 2008.It seems SAGE registration has been extended unto the 16th. This gives me 7 more days to work on my demo. So far there is 1 story-mode level, and 2 challenge mode levels. I think I should add more challenge mode levels so that the storyline isn't spoiled, but we'll see. Story-mode levels take much longer to make.
Challenge Mode Level=2 days.
1 Day= Backgrounds/Level design/Coding.
2 Day= Enhancing/Bug testing/Remodeling
Story Mode Level= 4-5 days
1 Day= BG/Level Design/Coding/Dialog
2 Day= Enemies/Minibosses/bosses/longer levels/lily compatiable
3-5 Days= Testing it all, which takes awhile. More bugs are common, and those bugs take awhile to fix. I'm not an expert at MMF2, so something really obvious could take time. But hey, long as it gets done.
My plan is to squeeze another story-mode level, and challenge level in before the release. I wasn't actually planning on entering SAGE(I was going to enter NCFC in October), but I figure there's enough to show at this point.
Pre-History
Mario Roots started back in Janurary 2008. After being movitated to create a Mario Fan-game(Thanks to looking at another one), I decided to give this one a shot. It turned out just how I wanted it to be, so far. The only problem is probably the file size and being compatiable on certain OS's that I'm concerned with.
Story
Chapter 1-1
The Mario brothers recieve a letter from Princess Peach. However, Luigi forgets to inform Mario that he recieved the letter, and forgets where he placed it. After a few days, he discovers it, and they are off to the Mushroom Kingdom. What awaits them?, well you'll have to find out!
